A Farewell To Arms - New Edition

A Farewell To Arms: The Hemingway Library Edition.

Fist published in 1929 when Hemingway was 30yrs old, AFTA has captured readers for 83 years.

As any Hemingway fan will know, he was meticulous about his writing process. Rereading and rewriting all the time.

Well, it turns out there were alternative endings for A Farewell To Arms! Roughly 39 to be exact.

Additionally, there were a slew of different tittles.

Now, for the first time, it's all here. You're able to see all the alternative endings. They range greatly, from similar outcomes to completely different. People live and people die. It's very interesting to see Hemingway at work in such raw detail.

Another interesting aspect are the photos. You're able to see actual photos from the rough drafts Hemingway created. All this accompanied with the fabulous novel itself.

It came out yesterday (July 10th) and I picked it  up. For a Hemingway fan it's a must have, no doubt about it. For the new reader, you're lucky that you are able to get this insight right off the bat, cherish it.
